Who was David in the Bible?

Conquest & Judges · ~1400–1050 BCOld & New Testament🌳 In the line of Jesus

Shepherd, poet, and king of Israel

The youngest son of Jesse, anointed by Samuel while still a shepherd boy. He faced the giant Goliath with a sling and became Israel's greatest king, uniting the nation and making Jerusalem its capital. He wrote many of the Psalms; God promised that the Messiah would come from his line. His story holds both soaring faith and real failure.

🤯 What might David have looked like?
